Cleantech Civils is currently seeking a civils site engineer for Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
·Establish the level and survey control for contracts.
·Set out detailed works as per contract drawing, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis.
·Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements.
·Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
·Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with the procurement department to ensure site have adequate resources to complete the tasks.
·Establish and promote best practice.
·Produce site diaries, records, and allocation sheets.
·Establish safe working cultures and practices.
·Comply with company procedures and legal obligations.
·Promote and comply with environmental compliance.
·Deliver the works safely and to deadline.
·Ensure work is delivered defect/snag free.
·Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities.
·Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organisation.
·Establish and promote EHS awareness on site.
Selection Criteria / Person Specification:
·Min. Third level qualification Civil Engineering.
Min. 2-3 years site based setting out experience.
·Sound knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, Environmental and legal regulations.
·Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments.
·Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
·Experience of temporary work co-ordination a benefit.
·Experience of MS project.
·Valid Safe Pass/SMSTS/MSIC card holder.
