Installation Lead – Electrical Wind Turbine Technician (m/f/d)
This role involves extensive travel to onshore wind farms across the UK.
Where your expertise is needed:
- You are primarily working on Enercon and/or Nordex Delta platforms
- You are responsible for the electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of wind turbines Systems
- Cable testing, pre-assembly, and work on rotor locking systems are also part of your tasks
- You complete site reports, risk assessments, and daily checklists to ensure smooth project progress
- Adherence to all client, company, and legal HSE requirements is a key aspect of your role
- You collaborate with site managers and other technicians to ensure the project’s quality and safety
What we\’re looking for:
- You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on Enercon and/or Nordex Delta 4000 turbines
- You have formal electrical or engineering technician training (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and experience with cable terminations and SCADA fault resolution
- You hold valid certificates in Working at Height, Electrical Safety, Fire Awareness, and First Aid (esp. Hailo Wind Systems platform certification and ISOPA T-045 Chemical Safety certificate is desirable)
- You are able to work at height and in remote site conditions
- You have a good command of written and spoken English
- You have excellent leadership skills, communicate clearly and have the ability to assert yourself
