You will receive guidance and technical support with specific training and mentoring in your chosen field combined with work ownership and a generous salary and benefits package.

What will you be doing?

You will be joining the highly respected team to support in the delivery of a variety of environmental and nature-based engineering projects.

You will support, manage, and deliver varied EIA and environmental planning projects and contribute to the development of our client\’s business-related offering, whether licensing, planning consent or permitting requirements.

The Role – EIA Consultant

  • Leading/supporting EIA and environmental planning projects as EIA Consultant including including infrastructure, residential, ports/harbours, retail, energy & renewables
  • Authoring and reviewing participation in team and client meetings, briefings and communications; regulatory consultation; technical research and reporting.
  • Collaboration with multi-discipline teams across ecology, hydrology, land quality, environmental noise and air quality, terrestrial and marine and with the ECoW team.
  • Preparation of scopes of work and costs for input to fee proposals.
  • As the business requires, assisting in the delivery of other related environmental assessments, commensurate with experience and technical understanding.
  • Contribution to business development appropriate to your experience, including initiating and participating in client meetings, networking events, conferences, and seminars.

Essential Experience:

  • Degree in the relevant discipline
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently.
  • Demonstrable skill in report writing and reviewing, including an eye for detail, consistency, and clarity.
  • Good communication skills and a desire to form successful relationships
  • Consultant Grade: Proven onshore planning & consultancy experience
  • Graduate Grade: Relevant studies
  • Full UK Driving licence
