External Sales Manager – Hydraulic Industry

An established and growing company in the hydraulic industry is seeking an ambitious External Sales Managerto help drive growth across the UK and international markets in the Renewables, Energy, Oil & Gas, chemical, Petrochemical, marine, subsea, industrial and Mining industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand existing UK and international accounts
- Develop new national and international business opportunities
- Identify prospects and new revenue streams
- Cross-sell a full range of hydraulic products to diverse sectors
- Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences
- Monitor and report on industry trends and market movements
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in external sales or account management, ideally within the hydraulics sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong proficiency with CRM software and MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- Customer-focused, solutions-driven, and enthusiastic approach
- Enjoys problem-solving and delivering outstanding service
Requirements:
- Full driving licence and valid passport
- Solid knowledge of hydraulics (essential)
- Degree or engineering qualification (desirable)
What’s on Offer:
- Up to £50,000 Salary (commensurate with experience) plus bonus scheme
- Company car, pension, and life insurance
- 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday), majority field based.
