About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive PA, secretarial and administrative support to our Managing Director and, where required, the Chair and Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role involving diary management, board and senior leadership coordination, preparation of papers and minutes, and proactive tracking of actions. You will work closely with teams across the organisation as well as external stakeholders, helping to ensure the smooth running of senior leadership activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full PA and administrative support to the Managing Director
  • Proactively manage a complex diary, ensuring priorities are clear and meetings are well prepared
  • Coordinate Board and Senior Leadership Team meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
  • Ensure timely distribution of papers and communications to key stakeholders
  • Support senior leadership planning, reporting, finance and people processes
  • Assist with internal and external communications in collaboration with the Communications team
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams and senior external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion at all times

About You

You will have previous experience supporting senior executives in a fast‑paced environment and be confident working independently while juggling multiple priorities. You will also offer:

  • Experience in a similar Executive Assistant or senior PA role
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • High IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • A proactive, professional and flexible approach
  • Experience supporting board or governance meetings (essential)
  • Experience within awarding, assessment or regulated organisations is desirable but not essential.
