The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Installing components: Contactors, MCB, RCBOs, sensors, wiring harnesses, and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) based on engineering drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Wiring and soldering: Performing precise electrical routing, soldering, and connecting cables, ensuring correct insulation and earthing to meet electrical safety standards.
You will join our Assembly team to assemble Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar containers, and hybrid power units within our dedicated production building, working from E-Plan and AutoCAD drawings. Ideally, you have previous experience within a similar role, using hand tools and an interest in electronics.
You will:
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on returned units or equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble products safely and efficiently.
- Replace defective components and parts.
- Conduct functional testing and quality checks on repaired items.
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
You will:
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have previous experience with a similar role (or elements of role).
- Be flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks.
- Hold a current Counterbalance forklift truck license (or be willing to undertake training).
- Have had experience with an ERP system (training can be provided).
- Start in kitting/picking before potentially moving to other areas of Logistics.
The working hours for this role will be 09:30-17:30 Monday to Friday.
