This role leads on the design and delivery of effective, innovative, multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns to achieve programme objectives. The role’s responsibilities include line management, oversight of multiple programmes and supporting the growth of the team’s wider marketing capabilities.
You will join the Marketing Services team which is made up of around 25 colleagues based across the UK. We deliver high-quality marketing and communications activity for our clients across a range of programmes, from energy advice to households to low-carbon travel support for businesses and local authorities.
The Marketing Services team works with other Marketing, Digital and Technology colleagues to design, deliver and continuously improve our products and services to delight our customers and exceed our business goals. We work in an increasingly agile way, and we are customer‑centric, product‑orientated and data‑driven in all that we do. What You Will Do
- You will lead on the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communications activity to promote specific programmes and projects.
- You will work with programme teams, senior managers and external stakeholders and funders to ensure the planning, implementation and delivery of marketing and communications activity achieves programme objectives and KPIs, and is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- You will manage a team and develop your direct reports to deliver high-quality marketing.
- You will manage external stakeholder and contractor relationships and ensure relationships are effective and collaborative.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience of marketing communications management, with proven success in creative and cutting‑edge campaign development and implementation that is data‑driven and audience‑centred.
- Demonstrable experience across the marketing mix such as managing websites, data collection systems, social media channels, advertising, PR, events collateral and digital content creation.
- Experience of supervising, mentoring or line managing staff.
- Confident written communication skills, including editing and proof‑reading with attention to detail.
- Experience of using data to drive continuous improvement, including using insights audience segmentation/research, digital analytics and reporting optimise and target campaign activity.
