As Advice and Quality Manager, you will lead the Advice and Quality team within the Home Energy Scotland programme team.

The team
- Our team in Energy Saving Trust manages the national Home Energy Scotland service on behalf of the Scottish Government. Joining our team means joining an award-winning advice service that supports hundreds of thousands of households across Scotland every year to make their homes warmer, more affordable, and sustainable.
- The climate emergency and the current fuel price crisis means the work of Home Energy Scotland has never been more important. Our team is making a real difference to people\’s lives, and we are also growing rapidly. We need to recruit more skilled and dedicated people to join our team now.
- Our team collaborate widely with colleagues in Energy Saving Trust, staff across the Home Energy Scotland network and many other partners across Scotland. You will be working with people and organisations to help tackle fuel poverty and the climate emergency, both directly, and through a network of regional advice centres covering all of Scotland.
The role
- This new permanent role will lead the Advice and Quality Team within the Home Energy Scotland programme team.
- You\’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent and impactful energy advice across all channels. You\’ll oversee adviser training, advice content and quality assurance.
- You will lead on ensuring our Advisor Induction Training remains SQA accredited and is closely aligned to our quality framework and that both are aligned with the advice content.
- You\’ll play a central role in shaping the adviser journey, embedding continuous improvement and supporting the development of our frontline teams.

What you\’ll do
- Lead the continuous improvement of Home Energy Scotland advice content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with customer needs and policy developments.
- Oversee adviser training and induction, maintaining our SQA accreditation and fulfilling all contract requirements.
- Ensure delivery meets Energy Saving Trust\’s World Class Quality Framework, using evaluation and feedback to improve standards.
- Coordinate development of adviser resources, including fast-facts and guidance tools.
- Collaborate with CX, Knowledge & Insights, IT and digital teams to enhance the advice journey and embed customer experience into systems and processes.
What you\’ll bring
- Proven experience in developing and delivering accredited learning programmes, ideally in an advice or customer service setting.
- Experience designing training for phone-based advisers and understanding remote advice delivery needs.Strong written communication skills and ability to produce high-quality
- documentation.
- Ability to translate complex information into accessible advice.
- Understanding of digital tools used in advice delivery and training, including CRM and e-learning platforms,
