Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, you'll support the delivery of our digital marketing strategy, helping to improve website performance, grow our email marketing programme, deliver paid advertising campaigns, strengthen our search engine optimisation (SEO) and AI optimisation activity, and provide valuable insights that support decision-making across the organisation.

The team helps Energy Saving Trust reach, inform and engage audiences across the UK, using digital channels to support our mission and make trusted energy advice easier to find, understand and act upon. This is a collaborative, creative and insight-led team where you'll work closely with colleagues across communications, content, policy and programme teams, as well as external agencies and freelancers. Together, we help shape how audiences experience Energy Saving Trust online, from search and email journeys to paid advertising and website performance.

What you will do

  • Support the delivery of our digital marketing strategy, helping achieve key performance indicators and strengthen our digital presence.
  • Set up, monitor and optimise paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Support search engine optimisation (SEO) and AI optimisation activity across our website and digital channels.
  • Deliver and continuously improve our email marketing programme, including testing, performance evaluation and optimisation of customer journeys.

  • Experience of creating and managing email marketing campaigns using an email marketing platform.
  • Experience using digital tracking and analytics tools, such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio and Microsoft Clarity.
  • An understanding of SEO and AI optimisation principles and best practice.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting performance data and turning insights into practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, agencies and stakeholders.
