RTL Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major substation project in Ipswich on a long-term freelance basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, taking responsibility for delivering works safely, on time, and within budget.
Key
Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day delivery of substation and associated civil engineering works.
Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Monitor programme, budgets, and project performance.
Attend client and progress meetings, providing regular updates.
Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Ensure all project documentation and reporting is completed accurately.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager on substation, power, utilities, or major infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
