Ipswich on a long-term freelance basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, taking responsibility for delivering works safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of substation and associated civil engineering works.
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor programme, budgets, and project performance.
- Attend client and progress meetings, providing regular updates.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure all project documentation and reporting is completed accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on substation, power, utilities, or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
