Overview Our client based in Reading, UK is seeking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer. Responsibilities Technical specification and design of equipment for individual bespoke projects ensuring deliverables are produced within manhour budgets and schedule constraints. Thermal and mechanical design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Technical support for the procurement of equipment across our range of technologies, including packages and static equipment. Production of drawings, engineering datasheets, specifications and requisitions. Review of detailed design information and supplier documentation. Periodic short term international visits to vendors, client offices and construction sites. Support of other departments in the company needing help with heat transfer or mechanical design issues. Mentoring of developing engineers. Qualifications Degree qualified in relevant discipline. Broad range of design experience with a Process Plant and Construction company or similar. Flexible team player with excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Able to prove eligibility to work in the UK. #J-18808-Ljbffr
