Requirements

  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong expertise with Cisco and Palo Alto network hardware and management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall policies, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Proven experience deploying and managing SD-WAN solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of SSE/SASE platforms (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler, Prisma Access).
  • Experience managing cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure, including VPC/VNet, transit gateways, peering, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting tools (e.g. NetFlow, Wireshark, CloudWatch, Grafana).
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Relevant certifications:
  • Cisco CCNP, CCIE
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
  • Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Experience supporting regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
  • Prior exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Experience collaborating across geographically distributed teams.
