Are you passionate about delivering impactful software solutions in the energy trading space? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Software Implementation Specialist to join our team and help deliver our ETRM, nomination, and workflow software products to clients across the UK and Europe. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our client delivery process, where you will be configuring, deploying, and supporting our software products to meet complex business needs. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their business and guide them through testing, training, and go-live. Whether leading standalone implementations or collaborating within a larger project team where multiple products could be implemented, you’ll have the tools, support, and autonomy to succeed. You’ll also partner with project managers to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring each implementation is delivered smoothly and to the highest standard, following our proven in-house implementation framework.
Requirements of the role:
- Lead client workshops to gather requirements and understand data flows.
- Configure software solutions to align with client workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and onboarding workshops for users and stakeholders.
- Support during user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and implementation partners.
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure a smooth handover.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3–5 years of direct hands-on experience in the full software implementation lifecycle, ideally in energy trading, utilities, or financial services.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, working independently or as part of a team.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a bonus.
- Occasional travel across Europe.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience of energy trading markets (power, gas, renewables) and related operational processes e.g. energy trading operations.
- Experience of TSO nomination processes, auction bidding or algotrading.
- Technical experience with SQL, APIs, report building e.g. Power BI and system integrations.
