Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer with strong object-oriented programming skills and solid experience working with .NET. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, eager to learn, and open to adopting modern cloud and microservice-based architectures. You will work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain applications that support EnergyOne’s platform and services. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise while contributing to meaningful, real-world systems in the energy industry.

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in software development with C# and .NET (.NET Framework and/or .NET Core).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and SQL development.
  • Experience building REST and Soap APIs and working with JSON/XML data formats.
  • Familiarity with source control systems, preferably Git.
  • Problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET applications using C# and related technologies.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of software components following object-oriented principles and best practices.
  • Work with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with the team on the design and implementation of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Assist in integrating new features into existing Windows Services and cloud-ready components.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Follow Agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:

  • Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Microservices architecture and distributed system patterns.
  • Angular experience.
  • Windows Services development and maintenance.
  • Docker and container-based development workflows.
  • Experience with automated testing (unit testing, integration testing).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Energy industry experience or interest in energy markets.
