We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. The candidate will bring a fresh approach to our quality assurance efforts on the automation side, helping to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role involves:

  • Creation, maintenance, and execution of automated tests
  • Maintenance of the automation framework
  • Collaborating with other departments to deliver world-class software solutions

In this role, there will be a combination of both office and remote work.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain automation code to test business requirements and ensure they meet their acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate production releases in liaison with key stakeholders
  • Execute appropriate automated regression test packs in support of manual testing
  • Functional and Regression testing of all code and configuration changes
  • Documentation of QA processes, practices, and buildout of the QA knowledgebase
  • Conduct appropriate exploratory testing, where required, to facilitate our agile approach and in accordance with QA industry best practices
  • Liaise with DevOps and Client Delivery to understand technical changes and their priorities & testing requirements
  • Contribute to extending knowledge across the QA Team
  • Gain an understanding of our products and associated functionality
  • Assist the QA team in adhering to industry standards and our own testing processes & best practices
  • Work closely with development to identify, log, and eradicate any bugs or unexpected behaviour

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience of working in QA automation at a software house, coding in C# and TypeScript
  • Proficient with relevant AI tools and/or AI-integrated IDEs
  • Experience using Playwright, particularly for API testing, Page Object Models, and custom fixtures
  • Good prioritisation and decision-making skills, with proven problem-solving expertise
  • Working knowledge of QA best practices; ISTQB certification is desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft ADO & Selenium is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and X-Ray is desirable
