Job Description Truss/Joist Designer (Timber Structures) £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus + Hybrid + Training + Progression + Company Benefits Leeds Are you a roof truss or joist designer with experience working with timber structures, looking to join a leading manufacturing company? On offer is the opportunity to join an industry-leading company that specialises in the design, manufacture, and supply of roof trusses, using the latest machinery and design software. You will have access to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and work in a supportive, collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with a tight-knit team, taking responsibility for designing bespoke timber projects using the company\’s internal software. Your duties will include preparing quotations, designs, and submissions for clients, as well as providing technical support to customers when needed. The Role: Working on projects of variable sizing and complexity Designing wooden Posi Joists and roof trusses using company software Interpreting and producing technical drawings to maximise material efficiency, producing longevity Liaising with clients Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm) Option to work 1 day a week from home The Person: Experience designing bespoke timber structures Experience using AutoCAD or Revit software If you\’re interested in this role, click \’apply now\’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
