Experienced Head of Project Management required with demonstrable success in off site construction or rental solution experience to oversee and align all aspects of high value projects.
Our client has been established for almost half a century and are recognised as global market leaders in the provision of rental solutions and equipment for a diverse range of customers and applications across the globe.
Able to establish yourself as the strategic leader of Group Project Management teams, as Head of Project Management you will develop an exhaustive understanding of existing project management processes and drive collaboration within each area, through excellent resource planning, flexibility and efficient management. You will be responsible for setting strategic objectives for project management efficiency and increased productivity. Tasked with maintaining oversight of both current and future projects and assessing and mitigating the commercial, operational, safety and environmental risks, you will report on the same to the COO and wider Board, so exceptional communication skills at all levels are essential in the position.
You will be responsible for driving a resilient health and safety culture and ensuring the individual needs of each customer’s compliance are met. You will develop project plans and schedules for the more complex projects of the business, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to whilst ensuring customer service is constantly at the fore.
Other duties for this varied and challenging role will include (but not be limited to):
- Identifying and championing all aspects of process improvement for project delivery and training your teams in the process.
- Understanding current project management KPIs and recommending more/less for maximum productivity for all project types.
- Managing and monitoring external service providers whilst building strong relationships with providers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with all department heads to make decisions regarding project management activity and strategic goals, often taking the lead.
- Reporting monthly to the Directors regarding performance, efficiencies and challenges.
