Proficiency in GCP, Data Products, Data Mesh, ETL, EDW Composer, BigQuery, DataProc, DBT, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Pub-Sub, Jira, GCP Dataflow, BigTable, Python, Scala, Java, .NET, ANSI SQL, Airflow, Shell Scripts, Control-M, Git, CI & CD, HDFS, Unix File System, RDBMS, Azure DevOps, Harness.
More about the role:
- Able to define Data Product Definition, Architecture, and Roadmap.
- Define Target Model backlog in collaboration with client stakeholders and lead delivery of a complete Architectural Design.
- Ensure designs and guidance are aligned with relevant strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
- Experience with UK Mortgages is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience on GCP, Harness, and Azure is expected.
- Support gathering of information requirements from IT and Business stakeholders.
- Ensure information requirements are realistic and achievable, simplifying and de-risking the information landscape.
- Model information requirements in understandable ways for different stakeholders.
- Understand enterprise-wide information architecture and relate specific requirements to it.
- Identify solution strengths and weaknesses, taking steps to mitigate weaknesses.
- Define the information roadmap for the project and wider programme for solution development.
- Understand the solution\’s position within the wider application and information landscape, collaborating with other architects to embed the solution.
- Ensure data design is consistent throughout all phases, facilitating knowledge transfer to the engineering team and reviewing downstream deliverables.
- Define logical data interfaces between systems.
- Assist in the physical design of data stores, interface files, or services.
- Ensure the solution complies with the client\’s information policies and standards.
- Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.
