Our client is looking for an electrically biased Field Service Engineer to join their established and growing engineering team based in Yateley, Hampshire. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems on‑site, and delivering high‑quality service to customers. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault‑finding and repairing industrial cranes and hoists, as well as supporting installations at client sites.

The role offers real variety — travelling daily to different customer locations, managing your own workload, and representing the business on‑site. While standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, flexibility is required due to travel. Overnight accommodation will be provided for jobs located more than two hours from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain and repair industrial cranes and hoists
  • Diagnose electrical faults, including 3‑phase systems
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service while on‑site
About You
  • Electrically qualified (C&G, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, or HNC/HND)
  • 18th Edition qualified (or willing to complete during employment)
  • Strong experience with 3‑phase electrics, fault finding and maintenance
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexible, proactive and comfortable travelling regularly
  • Willing and able to work at heights
