Falcon Green has partnered with an international tier 1 contractor that specialises in the delivery of modern-day mission critical and data centre infrastructure across Europe, in their search for a Commercial Manager to join their team in West London. Due to a large increase in project pipeline and recent company growth in the area, they are now expanding their commercial team and require someone confident in running commercial for a £200m+ schemes.
In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity. Project delivery ability, proven track record, commercial awareness and people management ability is key. You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises. With the order book full for several years in the UK and Central Europe, there is excellent scope for a credible Commercial Lead to step into a Director role after successfully delivering this project.
Key Responsibilities
- Main point of contact for all commercial activity
- Responsible for Business Unit commercial performance
- Oversight on all procurement
- Involvement in all preconstruction and tender activities
- Oversight on all subcontract accounts
- Foresight on any potential issues or risks
- Turnover and cash flow forecasting and responsible for presenting to director level internally
- Ensure projects are delivered commercially in line with group policies
- Implement and develop processes and systems as and when required across commercial function
- Chair meetings with client and senior management
- Reportable direct to Commercial Director
Requirements
- Relevant 3rd level commercial qualifications
- Flexibility to travel
- Proven experience working on €200m+ projects
- 5+ years in a Senior or lead role
- Data centre contractor or main contractor experience desirable
- EU Right to Work status
