Jimmy John's is looking for a few motivated, service‑focused individuals to fill a new Driver/In‑Shop hybrid role. As an In‑shop Crew Member you will be responsible for greeting customers when they enter and exit the restaurant, providing world‑class customer service, and executing fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining sanitation standards. As a driver, you will deliver orders within a five‑mile radius of the store and help in the store. Delivery drivers receive 100% of their tips each shift, and a competitive hourly wage. You will receive split pay for time working in the store vs time on the road, making for the most competitive hourly pay for drivers.
Hours available: 15 to 35 hours per week. Flexibility includes weekday morning/lunch shifts, evenings, and weekends. Make up to $19+/hour with tips! Jimmy John’s drivers earn more because they drive less. We have smaller delivery zones and, on average, you take more deliveries per hour than other places. Pay: Base hourly pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement (paid out at the end of each shift). Opportunities for advancement and management roles are clearly defined and based on skills/merit of the individual.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including lobby area, restrooms, kitchen, etc.
- Greets customers and takes orders – operates cash register – collects payment from customer and makes change.
- Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets
- Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
- Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John’s Dress Code
- Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- Performs other related duties as required
- Delivers orders in a safe and timely manner
- Bags orders accurately and checks bagged orders
- Maintains their own insurance
Must be 18 or over and have reliable transportation. Drivers must have had a valid license for over two years with no major infractions on your license.
