Job Description
Estimator Commercial Fit Out role in Wigan. The Estimator will deal with fit‑out and refurbishment projects across leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs and restaurants.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting technical drawings and producing BOQs.
- Generating and following up quotations.
- Negotiating with sub‑contractors and suppliers.
- Producing formal quotations to customers.
- Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations in an internal database.
- Contacting customers to answer queries and provide additional technical information.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub‑contractors and suppliers.
Projects
Working on projects ranging in value up to £10m.
Requirements
- Extensive estimating experience within the construction fit‑out market sector.
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
- Resilient and highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Familiarity with estimating software such as Eque2 / Evaluate or similar.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good team player who also works well individually.
Benefits
£45,000 – £55,000 + discretionary bonus. £7,000 car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
