Are you an experienced Electrical Test Technician with strong fault finding skills and a background in regulated manufacturing or defence environments? This role involves hands on electrical testing, certification and fault diagnosis of complex electronic products in line with strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical testing of electronic equipment and assemblies
  • Test setup, equipment use and calibration awareness
  • Fault finding and basic rectification at equipment level
  • Accurate completion of test records and documentation
  • Working to defined workmanship, safety and quality procedures

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Completed Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or Level 3 Engineering qualification (ONC/BTEC) with relevant NVQ Level 3
  • Proven electrical test experience (mid to senior level)
  • ESD awareness and manual handling knowledge
  • Security Clearance: British or a Dual UK with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our clients Security Team.

This job is at our client's site in Bolton facility, one of the North West's leading manufacturing sites for at least 25 years. The facility offers showers and bike racks and is near the motorway, with a petrol station outside. Amenities like an onsite canteen.
