We’re looking for a trainee Electrician (EICR) in our busy Greatwell Heating team to undertake all aspects of electrical works associated with the repairs, installations, and maintenance of Greatwell Homes’ tenanted and void properties.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide all general electrical services including installations and repairs as required, within occupied and void properties; ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Carry out electrical upgrades, rewires, installations of fuse boards and associated work as instructed, in line with all current regulations.
- Identify any electrical faults or defects and report them via the personal digital assistant (PDA) and ensure the environment is left safe for customers and staff.
- Complete detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
About you:
- Detailed technical knowledge evidenced by experience and/or a relevant NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent).
- Evidence that you are working towards City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds Inspection & Testing.
- Experience of working within an electrician role.
