An exciting career development opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual to join an established Engineering team based in Derby. This role involves providing technical support within fabrication and welding workshops and classrooms, ensuring safe and effective learning environments. There is also the opportunity to support teaching and learning through coaching, helping students develop and master practical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support in welding and fabrication workshops
- Maintain a safe and organised learning environment
- Assist with stock control and management of materials and equipment
- Support the development of students' practical skills and understanding
- Level 2 qualification in Welding or Fabrication
- Experience in a relevant engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting or delivering practical training
You will also demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, along with good IT and administrative abilities.
