Our Client is seeking a talented and driven Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its growing dispute resolution team. This role offers a varied caseload acting for both businesses and individuals across a broad range of civil and commercial disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Handle disputes including:
    • Shareholder/director and partnership disputes
    • Breach of contract
    • Property litigation (commercial and residential)
    • ToLATA, boundary and neighbour disputes
    • Private nuisance, harassment and defamation
    • Will, inheritance and professional negligence claims
    • Debt recovery, possession and insolvency matters
  • Draft legal documents (including statements of case, witness statements and settlement agreements)
  • Conduct advocacy where appropriate and instruct counsel when required
  • Advise clients on strategy including ADR, mediation and negotiation
  • Ensure compliance with CPR and court deadlines
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEX Lawyer/Litigator with current practising status
  • Opportunities at: 2+ PQE, 5–6+ PQE (senior level)
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy skills
  • Commercially aware and client-focused
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Team player with ability to support junior colleagues
