Meridian are working with a Yorkshire based company that covers MEP projects across the UK. They are growing their team of permanent electricians in an exciting period of growth. Projects will typically include commercial fit‑outs, compliance and inspection & testing, and FM‑related duties, so an existing 2391 (or equivalent qualification) is beneficial. Requirements
- Gold JIB card
- BS7671 18th Edition
- 2391 Testing Qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Experience with Electrical Inspecting and Testing
- Experience with electrical installation
- Previous experience in commercial and industrial projects such as offices, retail, commercial building fit-outs, etc.
- Strong compliance and HSE focus, prioritising safety and correct standards of electrical installation
- Full UK Driving Licence (travel involved)
- Ability to work nationwide

Duties
- Help install, inspect & test, and perform FM and PPM on electrical building services in commercial properties
- Safely inspect & test electrical installations
- Focus on electrical compliance and safe inspection & testing
- Assist HSE and project sign‑offs by helping with end‑of‑project reports
- Work closely with on‑site electricians and management teams to provide technical support on compliance, reports, and project paperwork
- Keep up to date with industry regulations and HSE governing bodies to ensure compliance and accurate inspection & testing reports
