TXM Recruit is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer in Wakefield to work on a large distribution site for one of the UK's leading retail distribution companies. This role is a temporary contract lasting 3+ months, with potential to become permanent if successful.
Hourly Pay and Hours:
- 37hr week on a 7am to 3pm basis.
- Hourly pay rate (PAYE) is £14.01 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.
- Contractors may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM):
- Fire alarm testing
- Legionella testing
- Fire door checks
- Emergency light testing
Reactive Maintenance:
- General repairs across the site
- Painting, laying floor tiles or changing ceiling tiles, repairing door handles
