Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Chippenham area who are actively looking to recruit a Welder / Fabricator to join the team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances.
- Fabricate and assemble components as well as cutting, drilling, grinding and preparation of materials prior to welding.
- Meeting deadlines and targets whilst working to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience essential, including using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG/MMA).
- Ability to use electrical and manual tools.
- Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings.
- Well-organised approach and an eye for detail.
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with excellent communication skills.
- NVQ Level 3 or time served.
