Responsibilities

  • Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to resolve issues.
  • Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing and process machines.
  • Use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.
  • Develop and deliver effective reactive maintenance, repairs and improvements.
  • Hold overall responsibility for maintaining efficient operation of process equipment.
  • Ensure the processing plant is available and running at optimum levels at all times, minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain high product standards by avoiding short‑term fixes that compromise the process plant.

Qualifications

  • Multi‑skilled automation skills on packing equipment or equivalent.
  • Excellent fault‑finding and root‑cause analysis skills.
  • Experience working in an FMCG environment.
  • Some supervisory experience would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable with autonomous decision making and teamwork.
