Frontier Resourcing are partnering with a leading defence and security organisation developing cutting-edge aerospace technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of R&D, designing and developing advanced test solutions for complex electronic systems.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the design, verification, validation, and lifecycle support of test equipment across board, subsystem, and system level products. Working within a highly technical engineering environment, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust, scalable test solutions for mission-critical technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing functional test equipment
- Supporting hardware/software integration and troubleshooting
- Providing production and lifecycle support, including obsolescence management
- Leading design reviews and producing high-quality technical documentation
- Driving test solution development from concept through to production handover
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience developing test solutions (not just executing test programmes)
- Excellent analogue and digital electronics knowledge
- Hardware debugging and system integration expertise
- Experience producing technical design documentation
- Test software development experience
Desirable Skills
- PXI / LXI test architectures
- NI LabVIEW, TestStand, CVI or C#
- Mentor Graphics schematic and PCB tools
- Mixed-signal circuit design
- Measurement uncertainty knowledge
