Job Description Infrastructure Technician
The Role
- Preparing detailed infrastructure designs for residential, commercial and leisure developments;
- Producing engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2D;
- Supporting highway, drainage and external works design;
- Working on both private and adoptable infrastructure schemes;
- Liaising with clients, council officers and multidisciplinary design teams;
- Attending site visits and project meetings;
- Applying relevant technical standards and guidance;
- Managing and prioritising your own project workload.
About You
- A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in Civil Engineering or a related discipline;
- Some relevant experience within civil engineering or infrastructure - placement or year-in-industry experience will be considered;
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D;
- Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- A logical and creative approach to problem solving;
- The ability to organise and prioritise your workload.

A full UK driving licence is desirable due to occasional travel to sites and meetings.
