Our client, based in Swindon, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join their growing engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical cabling and wiring of equipment and systems
  • Build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels to specification
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Install and terminate electrical components, cables, and control devices
  • Perform testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and relevant regulations
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, Panel Wirer, or similar role
  • Strong background in electrical cabling, wiring, and panel building
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
  • Experience using electrical hand tools and testing equipment
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant electrical qualifications would be advantageous
