The Opportunity
We are partnering with a long established and highly regarded real estate consultancy headquartered in the heart of London’s West End. Due to continued growth and strong performance, the firm is expanding its Property & Asset Management advisory team with two strategic hires. This is an excellent opportunity for commercially minded surveyors with a strong property management background who are looking to broaden their exposure into asset management. You will join a high performing team and take ownership of a prime, mixed‑use commercial portfolio. This unique role goes far beyond traditional, reactive commercial property management.
The Role
- Manage day‑to‑day operations across a commercial property portfolio
- Lead service charge budgeting, reconciliation, and financial control (RICS aligned)
- Act as a primary point of contact for occupiers, clients, and stakeholders
- Drive occupier engagement and enhance customer experience
- Support and deliver asset management initiatives and value‑add strategies
- Manage lease events including rent reviews, renewals, and assignments
- Oversee health & safety in collaboration with facilities management teams
- Conduct regular site inspections and attend client meetings
- Contribute to wider business initiatives and cross‑team collaboration
About You
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience at Senior Surveyor / Associate Director level)
- Strong background in commercial property management (Central London experience)
- Proven experience managing service charge budgets and multi‑let assets
- Exposure to asset management or a strong desire to develop in this area
- Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions‑focused
- Detail oriented with a hands‑on approach
