Your New Role

You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large and varied estate. This is a hands-on position where you will ensure all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently, in line with statutory regulations and best practice.

Key Duties

  • Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems
  • Completing installations, testing, and commissioning
  • Responding to service requests via CAFM systems
  • Conducting inspections and quality checks, including work at height and in confined spaces
  • Ensuring all work is properly recorded and logged
  • Supporting the safe operation of the site, including supervising others on tasks where required
  • Working alongside contractors and ensuring adherence to site procedures
  • Maintaining compliance with health & safety and security standards

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • Strong understanding of electrical maintenance and installations

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar electrical role
  • Legionella awareness (L8) – training can be provided
