The Client

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor operating within the architectural aluminium sector, delivering bespoke glazing, curtain walling, windows, doors and aluminium façade solutions across a wide range of commercial, education, healthcare and residential projects. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are looking to strengthen their fabrication team with the appointment of an experienced Aluminium Fabricator.

The Role

Working from the company's manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of a variety of architectural aluminium systems for projects across the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous aluminium fabrication experience looking to join a stable, growing business where quality and attention to detail are highly valued. The successful candidate will work closely with production, design and installation teams to ensure products are manufactured accurately and delivered to programme.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricating aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and associated systems
  • Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and technical specifications
  • Cutting, machining and assembling aluminium profiles
  • Preparing products for installation teams and site delivery
  • Conducting quality checks throughout the fabrication process
  • Operating workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely
  • Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping within the workshop
  • Working closely with colleagues to resolve fabrication and manufacturing issues

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience as an Aluminium Fabricator is essential
  • Experience working with architectural aluminium systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good understanding of workshop health and safety requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential
