The role, at a glance:
- This position focuses on structural modeling, drafting, and design support across a range of projects.
- You’ll work alongside project managers and engineers to develop construction documents, coordinate with other disciplines, and build your technical expertise through hands‑on project experience.
What you’ll do:
- Develop structural models and construction documents from schematic design through construction documentation.
- Perform structural detailing and support design development.
- Collect and verify field information to inform accurate design.
- Assist with shop drawing and submittal reviews, and respond to RFIs.
- Support QA/QC efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency in project deliverables.
- Coordinate with architecture, MEP, and civil teams to align design across disciplines.
- Participate in clash detection and coordination as required by project scope.
- Maintain organized design files and documentation throughout each phase.
- Follow and contribute to Warehaus standards for drawing production and file management.
- Coordinate with external consultants as needed.
- Assist with project closeout documentation.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of structural design or production experience.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis/design tools such as RISA, RAM, or Enercalc a plus.
- EIT certification or actively pursuing licensure.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
