MERITUS are excited to be partnered with a growing Systems Integration Consultancy based in Stone, Staffordshire. We are supporting them in the search for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Nuclear team, leading the successful delivery of complex EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) projects within the nuclear sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering business delivering high-integrity solutions across highly regulated environments.

Working across a portfolio of nuclear infrastructure projects, you will take full ownership of project lifecycle delivery - from initial tender and design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and final handover. You will play a critical leadership role, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and fully aligned with NEC contractual requirements. The role offers exposure to major UK nuclear programmes and strategic infrastructure projects, working alongside leading operators, Tier 1 contractors, and regulated site environments. They are based in Stone, Staffordshire, operating a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in the office.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of multiple EC&I projects within the nuclear sector.
  • Manage project scope, cost, risk, and schedule in line with NEC contract frameworks.
  • Act as the primary client interface, building strong relationships with nuclear stakeholders.
  • Oversee engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Drive commercial performance, reporting, change control, and risk mitigation.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience delivering EC&I projects within the nuclear sector.
  • Strong working knowledge and practical application of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts.
  • Experience managing complex engineering projects in highly regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and variations.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
