Could you be our next Gas Coordinator within our Building Maintenance team? In this role you will supervise, organise, manage and coordinate day to day operations in relation to Domestic Gas Servicing, Maintenance & Installation works to Falkirk Council’s Housing Stock. You will have proven experience in Gas Service delivery and contract management including procurement and financial responsibilities. You will have a full understanding of current and emerging legislation, standards and regulations relating to domestic gas work ensuring high standards are always maintained.
What we are looking for…
- The ideal person for this role will be able to demonstrate practical knowledge, understanding and experience of the works listed above.
- A high attention to detail and health and safety is essential, as well as having a current full driving licence.
- An SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Gas or equivalent is essential with Gas Safe Registration (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 & MET1).
- HNC in a Building related discipline or equivalent and CMDDA1 is desirable.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the candidate.
