Jark Stevenage is urgently recruiting for an Electrician/Warden Call Engineer with an immediate start. The role involves the installation, maintenance and servicing of client warden call systems, door entry, smoke detection and access control systems across Stevenage and a broad client base in the south east of England, East Midlands and Hampshire, with occasional travel to other geographic areas of the UK.

The position is full‑time, 40 hours per week. Working hours are between 9:00 and 17:30 with a half‑hour unpaid lunch. The engineer is expected to be on site for the first job by 9:00 am. Occasional overtime and out‑of‑hours call work may be required. The rota will be confirmed.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience installing and maintaining warden call, nurse call, door entry, access control and residential smoke detection systems, including Tynetec, Tunstall, Neon, KMS, PAC and Aico
  • Ability to diagnose, fault‑find and resolve technical problems in warden control systems
  • Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces (property lofts and outdoor areas)
  • Experience working in residential and communal properties
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high‑quality customer service
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Clean, transferable DBS check (or ability to obtain one)
