Operate and maintain an RNG facility to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production. This position blends plant operations with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation work—including SCADA, analytical testing, and maintenance up to 480V.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support daily site operations, maintenance, and plant activities.
- Monitor anaerobic digestion performance via equipment checks, gauges, charts, and SCADA.
- Record, interpret, and act on operational data to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot failures; repair/replace faulty components.
- Maintain and adjust instrumentation and control devices (recorders, flowmeters, monitoring systems).
- Collect samples; perform lab analyses for process control and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assess electrical circuits and systems for performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on major equipment and backup systems.
- Keep accurate logs, records, and equipment documentation.
- Calibrate instrumentation and monitoring equipment.
- Install, inspect, repair, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, and battery systems (to 480V).
- Troubleshoot DCS, PLC, and turbine control systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as an OMT, Process Operator, or similar operations role.
- Basic understanding of anaerobic digestion processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with voltages up to 480V.
- Background in RNG or gas processing.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
