Site Manager – Southampton / Hampshire Coast

Location: Southampton (projects across Hampshire & West Sussex)

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 + Package

We’re working alongside a well-respected Tier Two main contractor based in Hampshire that continues to grow steadily across the south coast. With a strong pipeline of work from Southampton through to West Sussex, they’re now looking to bring an experienced Site Manager into the team to support delivery on a flagship £15 million new-build project. The Role

As Site Manager, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility for site operations on a high-profile new-build scheme. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you’ll be focused predominantly on internal packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible on site, takes pride in quality finishes, and values good relationships with subcontractors and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors
• Maintain high health & safety standards across site
• Monitor progress against programme and assist with short-term planning
• Ensure quality standards are met across all internal works
• Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and consultants
• Resolve site issues proactively and professionally
• Support and contribute to a positive, well-run site environment

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on new-build or complex projects
• Comfortable managing internal packages on larger schemes
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality control
• Calm, organised and solutions-focused approach
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
