Senior Engineer
Located in Portsmouth, this role offers a salary of £45,000 with a Monday‑Friday shift schedule. The Senior Engineer will manage a team of 3 engineers on shift while also performing hands‑on maintenance and running of machinery in an automated FMCG manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the engineering team during daily shifts.
- Conduct pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance on factory equipment.
- Train and develop junior engineers and new hires.
- Ensure smooth operation of machinery within a fast‑paced industrial factory.
Requirements
- Non‑Negotiable:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Hands‑on maintenance experience at a manufacturing plant.
- Recognised engineering qualification.
- Management experience with a team of engineers.
- Desirable:
- Experience as a Maintenance Team Leader in the UK.
