An established and highly regarded architectural studio is looking to appoint a Project Architect to join its welcoming team in Southampton. The team has been delivering exceptional schemes across the South of England for 50 years and the practice is well known for its work within the residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities for the Project Architect:

  • Oversee the design and delivery of projects across residential and commercial sectors
  • Manage schemes through all RIBA stages, maintaining high design and technical standards
  • Produce and coordinate planning submissions, building regulations packages and detailed construction drawings
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure efficient project progression
  • Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members

The successful Project Architect will be:

  • Part 3 qualified and ARB registered
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Project Architect within a UK practice
  • Strong track record of delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
  • Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
  • Strong communication, organisational and coordination abilities
  • Self-motivated, confident and able to manage workload independently
