A leading multidisciplinary built environment firm with offices globally is looking to appoint their next studio lead in Southampton. The firm combines technical expertise, technology, and strategic insight to partner with clients in solving complex challenges and creating sustainable, long-term value.

In this role, you will oversee the operational and commercial performance of the studio, including:

  • Team leadership
  • Workforce planning
  • Resource coordination
  • Budget management

You will provide strategic direction and leadership on complex projects and growth initiatives, focusing on driving business growth through client engagement, spotting opportunities, and overseeing effective bids and tenders across the South-West region. You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to develop compelling design concepts, secure new commissions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will expand the project pipeline across local government, education, commercial, and related sectors, supporting both single-discipline and integrated multidisciplinary opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • ARB Registered Senior Architect
  • Experience leading teams and delivering complex projects nationally
  • Proven track record in bid and tender preparation
  • Strong design and technical skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Own car with a clean UK driving licence
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Ability to pass security clearance delivered by the UKSV
