Salary: £13.98 to £16.45 per hour inclusive of shift premium depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday; 2pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday; 2pm to 6pm on a Friday. During training hours will be 8am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm on Friday.

Responsibilities
- Operate machinery such as Die Cutter, Folder Gluer or Printer.
- Set machines for a wide range of customer products, adjusting tooling as required to maintain good quality.
- Monitor and fine tune machine running speeds to maintain efficiencies and achieve targets.
- Report tooling damages, upgrades, or replacements to the Team Leader / Engineering Team.
- Weekly routine maintenance including cleaning down the machine following BRC hygiene requirements for food safety, and work with engineering to grease and replace worn parts.
- Learn and operate other process lines and machines as part of training and development.
- Maintain production quality by inspecting produced materials and correcting issues to prevent client dissatisfaction.
- Ensure equipment is in good condition; escalate malfunctions and liaise with engineering to restore efficiencies.
- Inspect equipment and materials to prevent shortages and raise issues with the production team leader and engineering team.
Ongoing expectations:
- Learn and operate machines in accordance with the Skills matrix.
- Exhibit ongoing learning in Punnet Making, Die Cutting, Folding, Gluing and Printing. The more you learn, the more you earn.
- Inspect and manage machines to guarantee the production of high-quality products.
- Understand various job needs by learning different job types and assessing production requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment is functional and efficient.
