Contract: 12‑week temporary-to-permanent

Hours: 7:00‑4:30 pm Monday–Thursday; 7:00‑12:00 pm Friday (30 min unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG welding on a range of fabrication projects
- Perform butt and fillet welds to a high standard
- Work with mild steel and stainless steel materials
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Fabricate and assemble general steelwork and vessels
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a fabrication welder
- Proficient in MIG butt and fillet welding
- Strong background in general steelwork fabrication; experience with vessels highly desirable
- Competent in welding both mild steel and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and quality‑focused
