Drive a reduction in repair times through effective problem solving and strong technical skills. Provide technical facilitation, training, and leadership to deliver solutions that reduce downtime, waste, quality issues, and safety risks.

What We’re Looking For
- Qualified to a minimum of Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, supported by practical experience
- Proven technical expertise within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Strong problem‑solving capability, with experience in root cause analysis of technical issues.
- Proficient in key systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel, PI ProcessBook, and SAP Planned Maintenance.
- Competent in risk assessment and change control processes, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
- Experienced in leading root cause analysis and fault-finding investigations to drive sustainable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to fault find and problem solve on a broad range of equipment in a variety of situations.
- Effective delivery of maintenance activities, to ensure smooth transition between maintenance and production availability of equipment.
- Take part in risk assessments and formulation of method statements to assist in safe undertaking of any activity.
- Identify parts for the purchasing of goods and services where these are necessary to conclude work.
- Fix breakdowns in a timely manner during their shift timeframe.
- Level one problem solving including component failure analysis.
- Detailed entry into Atlas of all breakdowns / known jobs.
