Job DescriptionPLATER / FABRICATOR
We are recruiting for an experienced Plater / Fabricator to work for our client who are located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A PLATER / FABRICATOR:
- Reading engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
- Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
- Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
- Communicating with Project Managers during production.
- Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
- Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
- Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
THE HOURS:
Monday – Thursday 4.45pm – 2.45am (overtime available)
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of £21.50 an hour depending on experience. Overtime available
